Price list template
A clean one-page price list for any service business: list what you do, what it costs and how long it takes, then print it or save it as a PDF.
One engine, any kind of price list
A price list is a menu without food: a short list of things you do, each with a price and sometimes a duration. The same layout that organises a restaurant menu works for a hair salon, a cleaning service, a barber, a bike repair shop, a dog groomer or a photographer. The template above is a salon, but the sections and lines are just text. Paste your own services and the tool does the rest.
What to put on a service price list
- Service name. The words customers use, not shorthand only you understand.
- Price. A single price where you can; a “from” price or a range where it varies. Write “from 60” rather than leaving a blank.
- Time. A short note such as “About 45 minutes” helps people plan, and helps you protect your calendar.
- Conditions. Cancellation, deposits, travel charges and what is included belong in the footnote, once.
Group the list
Three to five groups are plenty. A salon might use Cuts, Colour and Treatments. A cleaner might use Homes, Offices and Extras. A repair shop might use Services, Parts and Callouts. Put the most requested group first.
Pricing honestly
Customers trust a price list more when the footnote says what changes the price. If long hair, a larger home or an older bike costs more, say so in a line. A price that surprises on the bill does more damage than an honest “from”.
Using the tool for non-food lists
The tool labels are written for menus, so in the “Restaurant name” box put your business name, and in the “Cuisine or style” box a short line such as “Price list, from March”. The dietary marks V, VG and GF are optional and appear only if you turn them on, so a price list can ignore them. Items with no price print as a plain line, which is useful for headings or notes.
Print or share
Choose US Letter or A4, print it for the counter, the window or the van, or save a PDF to attach to messages. Keep the original text; updating a price later is a thirty-second edit. If your prices change a lot, a separate hosted page is a different job, and this tool makes printed pages, not websites.
Questions about this template
Can I use this for a business that does not sell food?
Yes. A price list is a list of names and prices in groups. Paste your services as you would a menu and the layout works the same.
How do I show “from” prices?
Type the price as “from 60” in the price field, or put the range in the description.
Where do cancellation terms go?
In the footnote, once, in plain words.
Is the price list free?
Yes, the one-page version is free with a small plain-text line at the foot. See the pricing page for the HD file option.
